Our mission is for a good doctor to reach your door faster than you could reach an emergency room. We want every family — whatever their insurance — to get first-rate medicine, with tools so easy they need no manual.
Why Medora exists
Barcelona has excellent healthcare and waiting rooms that aren’t. Between the video call that cannot examine you and an ER crowded with cases that never needed to be there, the oldest thing in medicine was missing: the doctor who comes upstairs, listens to your chest on your own sofa and leaves the prescription filed before she goes.
We built Medora so that this gesture works with the punctuality and transparency you expect of any good service: you book from your phone, you see who is coming and what it costs before you commit, and everything that happens in the visit stays with you, in your record.
What we are not
We are not a symptom chatbot or a doctor directory. Every clinician who walks into a home with our app is licensed, verified and insured, and signs what they do. And we do not replace emergency services: for chest pain or loss of consciousness, always call 112.

You, first
Every decision — clinical, product, pricing — starts with the person opening the door. If it doesn't make things better for them, it doesn't happen.
Hands, not just answers
A screen cannot auscultate, vaccinate or stamp a record. We go where being there matters, with certified equipment in the bag.
Impact over effort
We measure minutes to the door, reports delivered and fevers that come down — not hours worked or promises made.
Ambition that signs its name
We want to be in every Barcelona neighbourhood. Every plan is signed by a licensed clinician with a name and a number, legally accountable for it.
A small team with very open doors
We are 27 — family doctors, paediatricians, nurses and a medical expert witness — based in the Eixample, visiting across the metro area.
